We're baaaacck....
Apparently someone or someone(s) in Burbank have been threatened to death by the fact that we've been an effective voice of dissent in this town for at least the last six years.
We've lost track of the precise number of years, actually -- although the last time we looked we had 4,500 separate postings and a little fewer than 1,900,000 separate page views over that same time period. That makes us very happy...
And some people not?
So apparently this crowd got the old Burbank California site taken down for god knows what reason -- dishonesty reigns triumphant these days we know -- because nothing has ever been explained to us. And probably never will be. But the fact that there's big money being spent on this upcoming airport terminal plan does make one a bit suspicious now, don't ya think...?
Ironic too that this happens the same night that we made a nice posting (we thought) about Barbara Sykes. No good deed goes unpunished, yes.
Anyway, we ain't going nowhere. It's business as usual. So we're back.
And we're flattered as well, to tell you the truth. These things don't happen unless you're considered to be effective....
Of course as always, comments are mighty welcome. Especially anonymous ones. We actually prefer it that way. We're not like that other Facebook one.
